Future Journey Kids Team Member,

Thank you for taking an interest in being a Journey Kids Team Member. On this page you will find everything you need to get started! At Journey Kids we care about the safety and respect of every child as well as every volunteer that are a part of our children’s ministry family!

We want to make sure that every child and volunteer is safe from any activity that would not honor the name of Jesus. Because of this each person who has a desire to work in children’s ministry is given an application and must undergo a criminal background check. (Both can be downloaded from this page.)

If you have never volunteered before or you are a new Christian, DON’T WORRY!  The application will not have you trying to answer hard theological questions, but it will help us know where you can best be used at Journey Kids.

Please take some time to read the list of different Journey Kids Ministry Opportunities, fill out the application, and either mail it or drop it off at the church office. Most importantly we want each person to find a place where they are excited about serving God. It may be challenging at times, but children’s ministry is very rewarding. Most importantly, please be praying that God will help us all as we try to guide kids along life’s journey. Thank you for considering Journey Kids as a ministry opportunity.

Here are some exciting ways you can get involved in Journey Kids Ministries:

Nursery Care - Love caring for infants? This is the job for you! Available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights?

Worship (Sunday Mornings 9 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.) - We offer our children age appropriate opportunites to worship through fun, interactive lessons and music. Volunteer opportunities are available both working along side of the children during worship as well as at Jounrey Kids Central where you can welcome and check-in families.

Bible Study Leaders (Wednesday night 6:45 - 8:00 p.m.) - Be a part of guiding our kids as they grow through studying scripture and discovering God's plan for their lives!

WANT TO HELP, BUT NOT SURE WHERE YOU FIT WITH KIDS? Opportunities are available anywhere from administration to organization or even set buidling. If you are interested, we will find a place for you!
