Journey Kids is a ministry to the children and families of Lake Houston Church and the surrounding community! We offer many opportunities for worship and fellowship to children from birth – 6th grade. It is the vision and ongoing goal of Journey Kids and its staff to create a safe, relevant and fun place for kids to experience God’s love and who He is. We are committed to welcoming new children and their families with open arms, as well as investing in those who are currently involved in our times of worship and other activities.

You may wonder why we are called Journey Kids. If you think about the word "journey", it often refers to an ongoing, ever changing thing. A life of a child or teenager is quite similar. We believe that God leads us on an exciting Journey as we learn about Him, His plan for us, and how to live for Him. This is true whether we are 6 months, 6 years, or 16 years old. Children are always changing and growing into who they will be as an adult. At Journey Kids, we want to be an active part of that journey by showing our kids the love of Christ, teaching them about God in a way that is fun and current, as well as giving them an opportunity to create Godly relationships with others.
